Guest guest
Hi folks, I'm Suzanne, North Carolina, and somewhat new to sprouting. Been doing it on and off for a few years. Going to try drying and grinding for crackers and breads and other dishes, as well as snacking and eating raw. My question is, I'm trying to do some research on sustainable sprouting. That is, growing the plants, letting them bolt, and collecting seeds. I belong to several prep gropus and I'm writing a how-to book for beginners on getting started with prepping and survival all the way to sustenance, and devoting quite a bit on how sprouting can help keep nutrition levels up, that the body will need under stress. Does anyone grow their own sustainable seed? Not just sprout their own seed, but let the plants go to seed.. Ever tried to do research on a topic by looking for the words 'seeds' or 'harvesting' when almost every post has those words in it, lol.. So sorry if this is a redundant topic, its just not easy to research. Happy sprouting Suzanne
