Another reason that I don't drink. People get even dumber than usual when they get loaded. Try the other guys for manslaughter and hand out the Darwin.

Alcohol can be a real problem. Alcoholism runs in the family and it has caused my father a good number of problems. So far as I know, my uncle stayed dry and I won't drink either.

Thankfully I did not have to go to the hospital and obviously did not have acute alcohol poisoning. I think sometimes we need the reminder that alcohol is really a drug.~It's only a deal if it's where you want to go. Find your travel deal here.

This is a sad reality. I too have been in the position of drinking too much and realizing too late. At the time I was drinking to numb the pain of a bad relationship, which of course is not the way to handle things, but I was young and naive, thinking alcohol could make it go away. Sometimes the statement at the end of the article is right"If you're a friend who sees somebody who may be getting into a bit of trouble ... assist that person and say, 'Enough is enough.'" I am so thankful for the people who were there for me that night and told me that and took care of me. Thankfully I did not have to go to the hospital and obviously did not have acute alcohol poisoning. I think sometimes we need the reminder that alcohol is really a drug.~

A lot of us have made these sorts of mistakes in judgements. We just

have to learn from them and move on.
