Guest guest
I have some normal crocs they are very wide so I guess they would accomodate AFOS very well. Judith

Guest guest
I wore crocs all last summer. They worked great. Stayed on and are very light. JoAnn N. Newfoundland, Canada (originally from NJ) http://360./jumpins6
Guest guest
JoAnn, How do they stay on? Are there straps in the back? Thanks, Dawn
Guest guest
Hi Dawn! Yes, there are straps. They can go forward or backward behind your heel. I had always seen people wear them like clogs with the strap in front, not realizing the strap can go in the back, too. I got the cheapos from Wal-Mart. They work great. You do need to be careful, cause some crocs have " bumps " (points) on the sole. Even tho I wear AFOs, mine are cut back, and the front of my foot could feel the bumps. The crocs are so ugly, they're cute! The bright colors cheer me up. I got black, red, yellow and green. And they're so light on your feet. That's important to me. JoAnn N. Guest guest
Hi Joann, Thanks for the information. I noticed you moved from NJ to Canada. I was born in Buffalo, NY and lived there most of my life. I recently moved south because the extreme cold really bothered me. I thought NC here would be better but this past summer was really hot and of course the extreme hot bothers me too. Worse yet, I am used to a different social environment. I always thought people in Canada were more like me for some reason. Having lived in Buffalo, I always met people from Toronto, ON and they were nicer or somehting. I can't explain it. Anyway, for what I can talk about; how is the weather up in Newfoundland? The lighter shoe helps me too. I may try the crocs. It might be a really good idea. I like the idea of the color cheering me up but I fear people staring at my feet since they turn in a bit when I walk. that's just me and i probably shouldn't worry about it but I do. I don't want to worry about it. Ok, well. Thanks for the Wal-Mart idea. I will try some on there. Dawn
