There was an article on the other site about AFOs helping with

fatigue issues and CMT. It said that AFOs will help with that making

it easier to walk. I don't know if I would test your baby right now.

You might wait a little longer. But for sure have it done. Also, have

you registered with MDA? We are all Jerry's kids, haha. They are there

to help and will do a lot for you and your kid. They will pay for

things your insurance will not pay for and they have great drs you can

go to. Plus your kid will be able to go to the great MDA camps and be

with other kids who have CMT and other MD related conditions. MDA can

be a big help to a new CMT mom. Just knowing there is someone there

who you can talk to and find out what to do and where to go is a big

help.
