On the toxic list: Lovastatin (Mevacor) Simvastatin (Zocor) Prevastatin (Pravachol) Not on the toxic list: Atorvastatin (Lipitor) Rosuvastatin (Crestor) Fluvastatin (Lescol) This information does differ from the news story posted on 2/25, which did include Lescol in the riskier category. Guest guest Posted March 21, 2008 Report Share Posted March 21, 2008 Thanks for the list , good timing for me asking questions. LOL. I was on Lipitor for a few months a few years back. I did find that my pain increased and was in more parts of my body. The Dr also was watching my muscle enzymes I believe and they did get significantly lower to the point where the pulled me off Lipitor.
