Yes, Auggie,

I have come out " spunkier " and better from all my surgeries, 1 for my feet (CMT

related) 1 for a tonsillectomy (obviously not CMT) 1 muscle/nerve biopsy (CMT

related - invasive, but not quite surgery) and more recently 6 years ago, a

spinal fusion in my lower back.

Sure, during initial recovery time I wasn't so spunky, but once that

passed, I was just fine.

(Always " Spunky " )

Gretchen :)

I had a GI test which required I be put under general sedation for about 30

minutes. After recovery, though, I felt so much better - in general.

So, does it have something to do with the anesthetics used, did the saline drip,

or the anesthetic have any anti-inflammatory action, .... what's going on???? I

'seemed' to have had more strength, better vocals, etc.
