Guest guest
You may be right, there have been a few " Doom and Gloom " posts lately. But I consider them venting, asking for support or maybe just crying on the groups shoulder. Your friend seems very lucky, not that he has CMT but the fact that he seems to have a really good support group in his family. Some of us don't have or, for one reason or another, can't/won't talk to close family or friends about our situation. That's where comes in, it's a great group of understanding fellow CMTer's that are willing, in many cases eager, to pass along positive suggestions and alternatives to what may seem to us impossible obstacles. I read the boards daily but rarely post. But around this time last year I was going through a difficult time and posted such on the boards. The positive replies from Gretchen and the group was overwhelming and I can't thank them enough. Who knows what may have happened hadn't they been there with a kind word. So, please, don't read " Doom and Gloom " posts as such. Read them as a friend asking for help. I've never met anyone from the group and probably never will but I consider them all friends. By the way, I never did formally thank Gretchen and the group for their help last year. Thank you all! I wouldn't have made it this far without you.
