Guest guest
Hi Donna, This is fantastic news as well as very inspirational! I so admire your quests to help charities, especially those in 3rd world countries where so much is needed. Gretchen
Guest guest
Thanks Gretchen! I am just finished with the rally and it was a true life experience. I am lucky to be physically fit (although without a huge amount of activity since my October arm surgery) so that made the rally a bit easier. Every day we were up at 4.00 am and were on the go until our return to a base camp (or our own camp with friends) until about 8 pm. Two days I spent climbing up and down dunes looking for the best path for our car (dunes are disorientating and a bit risky so choosy the right path is vital). I am so tired now, and taking a week off work with my husband to sleep and relax a bit. I am happy to have had the chance to do this, especially as with something like CMT one never knows if there will be a big progression in my future or not (so live for today!) I appreciate all of the support!
