Guest guest
Happy Easter all. Just want to take this opportunity to say Happy Easter to everyone and to thank Gretchen again for the hard work you do for this forum and for us. Now, to all. Without the participation of all the members on this forum we would not have a place to be happy, to be sad, to inter act with other wonderful CMT people. I remember when I first joined the forum, I did not introduce myself and jumped right in with talk regarding Vitamin C. With the help of the folks on this forum I came to find a correct dose for myself. Throw in some Vit E for my fasciculation's (sure I am still spelling it wong, LOL)((spell checker caught it this time, guess I am getting better)). You have helped when I ask about Diabetes and CMT. Exercise, most recently about the new drugs I am taking. Last but not least, information regarding Reynaud's. Here is a special thank you to Elinor. Thank you again for the information on Reynauds. As I said before I thought I was a mutation for years. I feel like I am alone in a family of 6 siblings, no one seems to understand what I have and how it effects me. This information can be a driving force for me to re discover my CMT with my brother and hopefully he will get tested now. My wonderful wife(seems to be the only one to understand me, other then you guys) said to me the night I read the post about Reynaud's, " that is the biggest break through " since I found out about my CMT. I might seem a little crazy right now as to why this helps me so much, but it puts closure on where this comes from. Now I can explain this to my 3 siblings from my Dad's side of the family. They have always just blown it off since they don't have any symptoms (very frustrating). They would say, " had Reynaud's not CMT, he had cold white hands, and I would say like mine. Like I have told them, they might not have severe symptoms, but find out for their kids. The information needs to be passed down in their families again, just so they have power. To me knowledge is power and without the knowledge they can't help themselves or their children. So, with all that said. Elinor, I extend a BIG THANK YOU. You have forever changed my life, just like this forum. God Bless Everyone and Happy Easter. (Ontario, Canada) P.S. today as I sit here watching my 3 children, hunt for Easter eggs and play with their new toys, I can't help but think I am the luckiest man alive. Can't express in words how happy I am. Thanks again all you all the best group of people I have never met in person LOL.
