I joined this group a few months ago and find it very informative! I've seen posts from several others in the medical field (nurses & doctors). It's nice to have another nurse in the group! Guest guest Posted March 3, 2008 Report Share Posted March 3, 2008 Welcome Rosemary, I think you will find this group very informative about everyday life with CMT. My name is and I am also a nurse. I have stopped working about 9 months ago and I miss it terribly. I am 40 years old as of last week and have had symptoms for 10-15 years, but not diagnosed until last March. I have been trying to become a domestic goddess, but it has been difficult cause I don't like cleaning and being home all the time. I have been cooking much more and my husband does not seem to mind. We live on a small farm and I raise rabbits, chickens, and pigs. I also gather about 2-3 dozen eggs daily. It is a good life and this year we are having a large garden so I can put up some vegetables. It has been a while since I had the time to can our own food.
