I want to thank you so much for bringing that article to our attention.

I have been seeing a cardiologist recently for irregular heartbeat,

tachycardia and ectopic beats, pvc'c and pac's.

This condition has caused me much anxiety and my cardiologist did

mention that this kind of thing can go hand in hand with CMT but I

couldn't find anything on it before.

This website is absolutely brilliant for information and you are

all much more 'in tune' than the CMTUK site.(no offence meant).

Thank you for this information. I also have the same problem and my doctors do

not know why and what to do. Now I can give them this info.

Hi Mark, Holli & Judith -

2 years ago 's heartbeat became very irregular and you could

actually feel it thumping in his chest. After 3 trips to the ER and

wearing a monitor for a month,finally one trip by ambulance to the ER

where the paramedics had him hooked up to the telemetry we were able to

capture what was going on. He was experiencing SVT...He had a cardiac

eblation, and knock on wood, has not had it since. The pediatric

ardiologist indicated that they have seen more frequent cases in kids

with CMT. He also said that it could happen throughout his life, there is no

way to predict.

I just wanted you to know that it took quite a while for us to get

anywhere with a diagnosis. Keep the faith!
