Hello again all, just an update from my last neuro visit. I saw a new guy at my

local hospital this year. He is more in tune with CMT then my last one. Go

figure, I already thought I had the best Neuro. Dr. Mark Tarnapolsky was my

last Dr. He was/is wonderful and was the man that discoveried my CMT. The new

guy Steve was/is just as good. He did a few new things during the vist that I

was not use. One thing he did was look into my eyes to see that one was

droppier then the other. Another way of looking at it was one seems more open

then the other. I have noticed this myself in the past and wondered if it was

CMT related.

2 years ago, they built a new clinic and added a strength testing machine. This

year they did my hand grip, pulling foot motion up and leg strength test. Last

year they did the leg strength test as well. This year I am glad to say that my

legs are much stronger. If you remember I just started taking care on my

diabeties about 5 fall of last year, and part of that was stationary bike

riding. This has helped huge in my leg strength and the testing machine proved

it this year. Unfortunatly my hands were much weaker then the year before.

Looks like I better start working them out as well. All in all it was a

positive appointment, and look forward to seeing how my strength is next year.
