I can completely relate to you in that situation and I feel that we are told way

too often that we are over sensitive when really other people are quite

insensitive. The hardest thing to do is rise above it; I know, because I feel

I'm doing that on a constant basis when I'm out.

The worst part is that no-one gives you credit when you do rise above it and you

think that no-one even notices when you constantly rise above and it takes a

mental effort. I moved (V. recently, this past June) to NC where, eventhough the

winters are easier to take, the amount of people is stifling and of course, you

run into more ignorance with simply running into more people. So, I know what

you mean and it's hard to even know who to take seriously.
