Is anyone else taking resveratrol? I've been taking about 100 mg. trans-resveratrol every day and I have noticed a definite energy and wellness increase and my skin looks better. Maybe it's a coincidence? Anyone else have similiar results?

The product we are taking that we got off of the walgreens clearance rack is

called Resvinatrol Complete. Their website is www.resvinatrolcomplete.com I

purchased each twenty dollar package for one dollar. I bought twelve. We take it

with barleans lemon zester cod liver oil, that I paid full price for at $23.

Ingredients: muscadine grape blend 500mg providing 100mg resveratrol

polygonum cuspidatum root extract

muscadine grape seed extract

quercetin

soy lethicin

red wine extract

pomegranite fruit extract

red raspberry fruit extract

other ingredients: gelatin, dicalcium phosphate, cellulose, titanium dioxide,

magnesium sterate, silica.

We dose 1 cap 2x a day for everyone ten and over. 2 caps is a serving. It has

caused stomach pain when taken by the ten year old. I am not sure of the

theraputic dose as we just started. It was believed to kill the bartonella

virus. We have a child with Uveitis and many other health problems in our

family. Bartonella makes sense as one thing we should look into. Grape seed

extract is one of the things we gave Child #1 before his big gains, so I wanted

to try it anyway to see if it would by chance help the rest of us, along with

the cod liver oil that helped him so much.

The expiration is 2/10 I am going to be trying some supplements I never

thought I would before in this economy. I try to do it safely and did not see

anything concerning in the ingredients besides the titanium dioxide. I think

that is a bad ingredient, not preferred actually. I am taking this brand

because it is the only thing I can afford right now.

I am also looking into the vitamin D that was offered for free this month at CVS

pharmacy. Here are the ingredients: D3 Cholecalciforol: 400IU

Dicalcium phosphate, cellulose, magnesium stearate, gelatin, cellulose coating,

silica.

My son was so sensitive he could never take this type of thing, he had to take

all new beginnings and special supplements. The rest of us aren't as bad off as

he was. He is recovered now. I am looking at chelating 7 more people in tough

economic times so I am looking curiously at supplements or brands I would never

have considered before. The vitamin D listed above is free at CVS this month

through their extra care card and ecb program (extra care bucks given on the

bottom of your reciept after you buy the product good for money off of your next

purchase).

I wonder if it would be possible at all to chelate out of CVS for example, or

if it just wouldn't work at all. I don't mean to insite a fight, I am just

wondering. I looked up in Both of Andy's books and didn't see any specifics

about the type of vitamin D. I would be hard pressed to believe that some

tablet could replace the benefits of cod liver oil though. I don't want to just

dismiss the cheaper supplements out of hand without asking.

CVS has ALA I assume. We use only ALA here. So, it probably would be

possible. I think most of the other supplements are pretty basic and

available. CVS should have them. Although, I'm not sure about

Grapefruit Seed Extract if you need to use that for yeast. My relatives

in Maine could find GSE at their CVS. I had to buy here at the health

food store and ship it to them.

As for the ingredients in the Resvinatrol Complete. The other one that

jumps out at me is Soy Lecithin. We avoid soy here. Soy lecithin is

supposed to help metabolize fats, help consistency in breads, and a few

other things. But, we just don't like what soy was doing or the amount

of genetic modification in the crop.
