Guest guest
Does anyone know if there is documented evidence of a difference in caloric burn between a healthy individual and say, a person with CMT? For example: If a healthy, i.e. non-disabled, individual walks one mile, are the calories burned more than, the same, or less than the same mile walked by a person with, again say, CMT? It seems people with disabilities exert more effort/force to move, so I'm curious if there is an increased caloric burn.
