Guest guest
It will be interesting to see what group takes responsibility. India has not only Muslim terrorists, but also communists and also Hindu radicals. That they have taken hostages will complicate this matter. This is a typical attack, however. The target was a financial one. It took place in a business district, but also a tourist center. The aim is the drive away tourists and foreign businessmen. What is interesting about that is that if the tourists and business goes away, then the local people will end up poorer and unemployed. How they think this will improve their standing with the locals I've never been able to understand, but then that really isn't a concern for the radical since they have guns and the locals don't. The Bali bombings were another of this kind of economic attack. The intent was to kill tourists and ruin the tourist industry. In a message dated 11/26/2008 5:16:21 P.M.
