I am 59 and was diagnosed with CMT Type 1A 6 yrs ago. My balance has

deteriated and walking less distance now.

Always had a abnormal walking gait, but pins and needles in my feet and

hands took me through a nerve conduction test which diagnosed CMT.

So that's why I kept falling over when I was tired! Missing piece of

jigsaw slotted into place for me.

Glad I found another support website. I live in the UK and am a member

of CMTUK.
