Guest guest
Hi Everyone, My doctor has suggested me to undertake a sural biopsy test to rule out the possibility of Vasculitic neuropathy as the cause of my peripheral neuropathy. I know there is a possibility of some complications following the biopsy and some controversy on the usefullness of the test. Has anyone here undergone this procedure? Are side effects after the intervention likely to occur (increased numbness, pain, etc)? Can this test be usefull to indicate a possible treatment? Also, in the case of Vasculitic neuropathy is there a possibility of recovering part of the sensibility and muscle strength lost? Thank you very much, Murilo Lion
