Guest guest
, Our insurance pays 80--60% depending on the provider; I never dreamed AFOs would cost so much more than what Medicaid was paying. Aside from the Helios in Las Vegas is this average? I'm concerned that getting better help will be out of reach for a working couple. Guest guest
unfortuantely, this is the cost of AFOs. my ones that i had before these were about 2800 and that was years ago and they broke after one year of use and they were going to make me buy another one rather than stand behind the ones they used. it is a nightmare and so unfair that it costs so much money just to be able to walk. MDA will pay up to 2500 every 5 years for durable medical equipment. this would cover whatever your insurance doesn't cover. jackie
Guest guest
My Arizona AFO was $800 with my insurance picking up 50%, so $400 out of pocket. That's for one foot.
