Guest guest
I was aware of issues with my hands and forearms a couple decades before my feet. In the meantime, my feet have caught up and passed my hands, so the progress for my hands has been much slower. Maybe some of your hand/arm issues could be some sort of repetitive stress aggrivation? Is there anything you could change, like the type of mouse you use, keyboard position, wrist supports, chair height? I've got a couple of numb-ish fingers and find that tendon memory works just fine whether I can feel the keyboard under my fingers or not. Now if my job were as a jar opener, or those dreaded zip lock baggies I can't pull apart, I'd be in trouble. O
Guest guest
Hi . Like you my numbness started in my forearms and the feet came later. The arm sensory loss is much slower than the legs and feet with me as well. My hands are partially numb but oddly enough I haven't lost strength in them very much. Opening a jar is strange as I can't really tell how much pressure I am applying due to the lack of feeling. Yes the zip lock bags are dreaded, especially when I cut the edges too low on a product in a zip lock. I may as well replace it just to avoid the future aggrevation of trying to open them. Guest guest
Thanks for your reply O. I have a heck of a time with jars and zip lock bags too! ROFL I wonder if it's not time for me to get some kind of wrist support for my desk at work..... Suzanne in TN
