Guest guest
http://www.enterprisenews.com/ Twelve-year-old Amy de Silva from Dartmouth will sing her rendition of " American Tears " as part of the closing ceremony for the Moving Wall event in Middleboro on June 2. Amy was diagnosed at a young age with a neurological disorder called Charcot-Marie-Tooth, which affects the legs, feet, arms and hands. Amy's father and brother also have CMT. Despite her physical limitations, Amy won first place in a singing competition and won " Burt Wood Idol " 2007 from the Burt Wood School of Performing Arts in Middleboro, and to raise awareness of CMT, in 2006 and 2007 Amy also sang the National Anthem at a Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park.
