Guest guest
Okay...I tried to reach my rep at the Disability Determination Services Dept, and after 3 unreturned calls, I finally got her on the phone. She said that my case was complete on her end and that she had received all of the info from all of my doctors. However, on July 1st, she said that my case was " randomly " selected by the Federal SS Administration for a review/audit, and that we would not know anything for 3 weeks or so. I asked her if she knew what decision had been made prior to it going to a Federal rep, and she said " no " ...then she clarified and said " I know, but it could change depending upon the findings of this other review " . Am I reading into this in thinking that she would have told me if there was positive news or is this just how it goes? I always wonder when people don't return calls...human beings don't typically like to be the " bearers of bad news " . Perhaps I am just paranoid:) Thank you, Amy
