Guest guest
I am a 44 year old woman who was diagnosed with CMT 12 years ago. What caught the disease, was that I had a severe case of hammertoes. I have had them surgically fixed for now. At this point my Big toe is curling up, and causing me great pain walking. I have tried shoes with braces but they seemed to make me fall backwards so I spoke with my doctor and told him these were no longer going to be an option. Since I do fall quite alot, I of course have severe back pain. The neurotin that I have been taking now for about a year is no longer doing the trick. My Chiropractor has now put me on some supplements, Neroplex, Cataplex, and St s Wart. At this point I am still waiting to get my medical records sent to another Doctor to the place that we have just moved so things right now are at a standstill. I know that both my brother and sister have some type of a muscle or nerve disorder my sister is now going to be tested. My brother still hasn't stopped working, but from the looks of things it won't be much longer and he will have to stop working aswell. I look forward to your posts.... God Bless, Tammy
