Guest guest
I didn't think I could find yet another action that CMT exacerbates, but here it is. I sleep on my back (Rule #24, Living with Sleep Apnea). Sometime in the night, I crossed my ankles. When I awoke and moved, excruciating pain lanced thought both lower legs. I looked at my ankles and saw 2 small red areas on my legs where my ankles were crossed. Having lost most of my muscle mass in my lower legs, the pressure was tibia on fibula with just layers of skin between them. Of course sensory loss prevented me from knowing about the problem until woke up and moved. This syndrome never fails to amaze with the many little problems that jump up completely unexpected. --Larry
