Happy Mothers Day and Happy AFOs

I have had my AFOs now for 3 weeks -I have had no problems wearing

(except a blister from my dress/work shoes). For Mothers Day I

dragged my children to the Ft Worth zoo!

I wore shorts, sneakers and AFOs! 3hrs of zoo, parking, lunch, and a

few errends and I am great! My back(si joint) feels level and I am not

wiped out of energy! I am not ready to call these AFOs a miracle or

even a permanent feature of my life .....but I feel they have had a

positive effect.

The most noticeable difference is my knees have stopped shaking and buckling out

on me when I stand. I will report back to the group in next few weeks and

months. Thanks all- PS- I will post a picture but I think they are off the

shelf carbon fibre AFO.
