The artwork is also featured on art cards available for the Christmas season, in English, French and Spanish. "I belong to a list serve for individuals and families dealing with myasthenia gravis," Bruce states. "A newly diagnosed senior was lamenting the fact that he didn't know when he would be normal again and my son asked if he could respond to him. told this gentleman that his current condition is his new normal. It's such a simple truth and yet, we rarely consider the upside of a life altering and life threatening diagnosis, Bruce states, in a press release. Throughout December, a framed eight-by- 10-inch print is available for viewing at Mexicali 's at the corner of Water and Charlotte streets. Myasthenia gravis is a rare complex neuro-muscular auto-immune disease that interferes with the communication between the nerves and muscles, resulting in muscle weakness and fatigue. Matted prints can be purchased for $35, matted and framed prints can be purchased for $75 and Art Cards, including envelopes, are available in sets of six for $10 (applicable taxes, shipping and handling are extra) by calling Bruce.
