Guest guest
Hello all, I'm a new member to the group, just joined today. Last week I got the diagnosis of CMT after complaining to my doctor of longterm numbness in my toes and a " friction like " feeling on the bottom of my feet. He referred me to have an EMG and nerve conduction test done and the diagnosis came on Monday of this week. My dad had pretty awful looking feet and supposedly had a CMT diagnosis at some point. His mother too had struggled with the problem as well. I am 43 years old, have had week ankles much of my life. This has not impacted my mobility at this point, although the numbness/pain feeling is a little bothersome. I am awaiting a call from a neurologist to get an appointment. Any suggestions or advice would be welcomed. Mike
