Tennis shoes can be modified to work with metal braces. That is easily

done. A channel is just inserted in the heels and you are set and New

Balance is one of the best brands for that. I have New Balance 991's

fixed for my metal braces and they are great.

I like the thought of that...they would be lighter. I'll have to ask about the

lift.
