Guest guest
Hello and welcome Anita! Santa , no less! I'm in Solvang I have been involved in aquatics here for a long time. I absolutely love it and am committed to my program, which is always evolving starting with walking in water to full cardio, abs, etc. I use the pools at RRPT/Performance Fitness here, also where Physical Therapy is. Some pics of the special pools (they may look small, but so much exercise can be done because of the resistance force of an adjustable current. The water is heated at 94 degrees on average which is wonderful on my muscles. http://www.rrpt.net/Aquatics.cfm . I was diagnosed as a kid, am now 55, so there's been many sessions of PT in that timespan. PT has come along way, PT after back surgery had me recovering earlier than expected and the same seems to be true with my recent shoulder surgery. The PTs here are the best. The best exercise though has been in the last 10 years or so when I started aquatics, and pilates to improve inner core. I do feel this has helped my balance immensely. I still walk in sand out at Ocean Beach but not as regularly as I'd like. I'm too landlocked here so I get on my bike. Again, extending a warm welcome to you and perhaps we can meet someday?!
