Guest guest
Heya Jerry - I admit I did wonder at times when reading - but sometimes it's hard to tell passion or enthusiasm in defense of one's opinion or experience from something else. Glad for your sake you recognized the need to seek the medical help and hope it has made the rest of life easier, for my understanding is that such burdens become more a challenge in handling life overall.... some of my clients have had challenges with depression in particular, and one cannot judge " injury " quite as easily there nor the recovery like one would a physical injury... the very wisdom to see and be treated is quite remarkable when you think about it! I will say though with some merriment that our sanity as a group could easily be questioned by a good many people, I remember a long discussion with Mel about the " genius or madness " aspects of a good many people in history lol. Have to say my everyday self greatly questions the sanity of my lifting self....can't count the number of times I've actively questioned " you're going to lift WHAT? " . Please continue to post and I hope the meds don't adversely impact your lifting, which is clearly a good part of your best experience in life. Guest guest
Hi, Jerry. Thank you for having the courage to share your diagnosis. Even though we live in an age in which we're urged to be " accommodating " toward (or at least tolerant of) persons with disabilities, mental illness still carries a strong stigma. Raising awareness of the prevalence of bipolar disorder is one way to help reduce that stigma. All my best, s Ardmore, PA
Guest guest
Jerry, No problem and thanks for the courage to come forward with this. I always appreciate your posts because it is clear that you have a lot of training knowledge and are very creative - think out of the box. I just want to share with you that with your condition please investigate taking omega 3 (EFA's). There is considerable research that shows that they are important and can help your condition. Sincerely, Ed White Sandwich, MA USA JRTELLE@... wrote: Dear All: I recently had occasion to reread many of my past posts. I was appalled by my lack of professionalism.
