Hi Matt,

I was told it never skips a generation but it can be so mild that it doesn't

really show up in some people. Now with DNA testing we can make sure no one in

the family has it. Even if its a very mild case.

Spencer my oldest CMT son walked fast at 10 months and never fell. He had great

coordination as a toddler. I was sure he didn't have CMT.

The Children's hospital genetic counselor told me flat out of you have CMT you

can pass it on. If you don't have CMT, you do not pass it on.
