Guest guest Posted July 14, 2008 Report Share Posted July 14, 2008 Chris I'm not sure about CMT affecting my menstrual cycle - but am very sure about the menstrual cycle affecting my CMT. I always feel twice as tired, my sense of balance gets worse and my ability to walk goes right downhill. The last time I saw my neurologist and raised the subject I was pooh-poohed, probably as there's no written work on the subject. Personally I think if you can't find any information its only because noone has looked at gynecology and CMT in that context. Guest guest Posted July 15, 2008 Report Share Posted July 15, 2008 If you haven't had your Thyroid tested in a while, that may be worth doing. It's a simple blood test. Both Hyper and Hypo Thyroid problems can mess with your cycle (speaking from experience here) and it's very common for a woman's thyroid to slow down as we age... probably the result of all the great processed foods and chemicals we eat! :-) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
