Hi Steve,

Wow, you blew me away!! I have never heard anyone describe the pencil

under the foot pain. I used to have it all the time when I lived in

upstate NY. Since I've been in sunny Florida it no longer happens. I

also was on Amitryptline and Lyrica at times. The sleepyness from

Amitryptline lessened eventually but I feel better off of it . Lyrica

helped for quite a while but eventually I got muscle aches, swelling, and weight

gain--about 20 lbs.

I am now on Neurontin three times a day. I take 300mg in the morning and at

supper time and 600 mg at bedtime to keep pain under control. The bedtime dose

has especially helped and I've taken very few Percocet since I'v been on

Neurontin. Pain control is much improved and the weight is slowly coming off.
