Hi Steve,

There are some other pain medications that may help - ask your doc

about Neurontin (Gabapentin) or Ultram (Tramadol) Sometimes medications

take some guesswork to see what works. I took Amitriptyline for years,

at different doses, when doses were increased, I noticed more of a

sleepy feeling, so I only took it at night. No wonder you've got

spaciness - that's alot of Amitriptyline in the daytime!

Also if your insurance will pay for it, you might see if your doctor will

prescribe Provigil.
