Guest guest
Hi everyone, I joined this group last year when my husband, , 39, was dx with CMT. Recently our 12 yr. old daughter has been having pain and trouble walking so she had her first NCV appt. the other day. Turns out she still has great nerve function. The dr. wanted to test my husband as well (since he happened to be there), and as he increased the intensity, my husband passed out! My daughter was so scared she couldn't move. When he woke up 30 seconds later, the dr. told him that happens sometimes with neuropathy. This didn't happen last year when he had his first NCV, so I don't get it. He has a very slow nerve response and wears AFOs to walk. Has anyone here passed out during this test, if not have you ever heard of this happening? My husband slept for two hours when he got home which is very unlike him, so I'm very worried. Thanks in advance for your input.
