Guest guest Posted August 1, 2008 Report Share Posted August 1, 2008 Bob, I dislike my AFOs so much I never wear them!! Mine do have an ankle joint. After finally finding shoes that would fit around them and didn't look like I had on shoes way to big for me,and many trips to have them shaped to not cut into my feet or ankles.I still hate wearing them. I just do not think they are working for me right now.For me,if I am walking,they do help but if I am standing still or sitting they are so uncomfortable that it is not worth the help they offer.My Mother has CMT and wears the AFO with no ankle joint and she loves them.
