Guest guest Posted August 8, 2008 Report Share Posted August 8, 2008 I " m a late onset CMT'r with type 2. I think yoga stretching really helped me as the disease started to take hold. Now I'm torn between the pain that stretching causes and the pain that just occurs. While stretching used to really help with the nerve pain, now it seems to aggravate it. I also had bone failure resluting in a foot fusion. I've inquired into yoga classes, but have found that the instructors don't want you in the class unless you're able to do all the poses. Private sessions get very expensive, so if I do stretch, it's just on my own and I try not to hurt myself. O Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
