Ann,

It seems that your sequence alteration is a recessive type of 4C according to

this http://neuromuscular.wustl.edu/time/hmsn.html

I'm not sure if you want a CMT geneticist or a neurologist or genetic counselor

or...? Don't know where you live, but here's a few suggestions on MDs extremely

knowledgeable about CMT for starters:

University of Washington (Seattle) Drs. and Chance

Mayo Clinic (Minnesota) Drs. Dyck and Klein

(University of Minnesota) Dr. Parry

Wayne State (Detroit) Dr. Shy and team

U of Miami (Florida) Drs. Zuchner and Vance

Baylor University (Texas) Dr. Lupski and team

The MDs at Massachusetts General in Boston (I forget their names right now -

sorry)

and there are others, in the states and worldwide. Let me know where

you are located, I can come up with others hopefully.

Gretchen
