Does this compassion extend to those on SSI? In our situation because

my husband's married, I work, and he is paying back an overpayment he's

not eligible for SSI or Medicaid anymore. I'll add the overpayment

occurred over a period of years when his checks were being cashed

fraudulently by a person he will not turn in.

Don't any of you out there have similar experience? A person can't live

on SSI or SS alone. People get divorced so they can continue to receive

their checks. What is this about?
