Foot Pain Neurologist or Podiatrist?

Hello

A new symptom started about a week ago. Foot swelling and foot pain

on the outside of the left foot and under the small toe on the foot

body.

Just had an xray (neg) and an ultrasound to rule out a blood clot. My

left foot is the only one swelling

Unsure of what physician to see next. Podiatrist or Neurologist?

This is probably nerve pain right?

I started a walking program and did 4 laps for about a week. Trying

to loose weight for other recently discovered symptoms.

If you remember me I was having breathing problems (my throat would

spontaneously close) I ended up having a sleep study (sleep apnea

diagnosed) and then had a barium swallow (silent GERD diagnosed) so

now onto a CPAP machine and a prescription for Prilosec. I do not

eat after 6pm. Those symptoms are under control so I started weight

loss program and now the foot

Any advice would be deeply appreciated
