I would compare it to a bunch of football fans talking about football, or a

group of stock brokers talking about the stock market. We all have something in

common here , living with CMT, or a family member with CMt. We share the good,

the bad, and the ugly. Bottom line, the truth. When i read the stories of the

group, I then realize I'm not in this alone, there's people all over this

great world dealing with CMT. Just like me.

The 3 words I would use to describe . Sane, Library, Global.

to me is like a sane place in an insane world. Library, it's a quality

library of information about CMT. Last but not least its a Global Collaboration

of people trying to make it easier to live with CMT.

A God-send! A place to get the support, wisdom, guidenance and help of so many

people who truly know what you are going through and no matter what your going

through or what advice you need, you always find someone here to help you

through it. This group has been the only place where I am able to get the

support I need and it has always been given to me with kindness and genuine care

and concern.

For me, it has been a forum that allows me to read, talk, comfort others, gather

comfort and learn without having to rely on my friends and family for support.

It has also

enabled me to be more of an advocate for myself and has really helped me learn

to accept that I have CMT and it does not mean

that it i an end to who i am.

It has also given me the opportunity to meet others with CMT without having to

go to a physical support group.

It has been a g-dsend for me and has helped me grow over the last couple of

years that I have been a part of this group.

Thanks Gretchen for making this a reality.

That's easy.

It is a Group for people, whose lives are affected by CMT. Why

should you need to say more than that. Doesn't everyone use Google or

? I am in four of these kind of groups. Two for theater,

one for my band, and one for CMT. It is a very common concept.

is an invaluable tool for those affected by CMT. is

knowledge. It is empowering. It is empathetic, sympathetic and

compassionate. is a great networking tool for all things CMT.

Being able to bounce concerns and ideas in this community has proved

to be priceless.
