I don't even hear mine anymore. YOu get so used to it.

My Aranizer generates a high frequency buzz. The intensity of the buzz

changes with output level. Higher output = louder buzz. Doesn't bother me.

I bought 2 - they both make a slight " static " noise which changes with

intensity - each one is slightly different but by changing intensity, one

can get it to a very tolerable level. Mine are both tolerable to me at all

levels but my wife complains at certain levels. Best wishes, Ken

If I turn mine on, there is a quiet buzz.

As I turn the knob, until the white line in the knob is at about

half way, the buzz goes up.

But from that position on, until maximum, the volume actually

goes down a bit. Is my hearing crapping out on me?

Or is my unit malfunctioning?

I can barely smell the ozone output, at even the highest level

(but I'm used to ozone, from using medical grade ozone generators).

One of my smoking coworkers dropped by my cubie and said that

he could smell it, and he was about 8 feet away from it.

And the cleaning lady just was here, and she could smell it too.

Fred,

Mine does the same thing as far as the buzzing. All the way up = less

buzzing. Not sure why you can't smell it and everyone else can!

Sounds OK to me. Don't expect a linear relationship between knob

position and buzz quality.
