Guest guest
, Annually ? Maybe a month maybe. Please let us know what you find out. The process to call and file an application for SSI is very easy. They will tell you over the phone if you qualify. Thank you. In a message dated 9/9/2008 4:34:00 P.M. Guest guest
Thanks - I will call again. I know the process is very easy to follow, I just didn't want to go through it all if we don't stand a chance of qualifying since it's all such personal info on the application. The woman I spoke to said annually and got extremely huffy when I expressed my surprise... Will keep ya posted.
Guest guest
This will vary by state and county, but it's going to be at or pretty close to the poverty level. $3200 per year seems low to me, but $3200 per month sounds high. In 2008 in New York an adult living alone would only get about $700 monthly SSI, a couple about $1025 a month If your child meets the disability criteria in the SSA Blue Book, you should ask SSA about family income limits. Be sure to ask if he might be eligible for Medicaid or if your income is a bit too high look info Food Stamps and HEAP.

Guest guest
Hi , SSI is a pain to deal with but think of it this way, by the time your kid is 18 you might be approved.
