We have had a few new parents of CMT kids join the last month. My heart really

goes out to you. I have been there done that 3 times. It will get easier.

Something I think of a lot is how strong my kids are on the inside. Not life as

I planned but a good life.

Thanks .

My husband and I did some deep grieving when we first got the diagnosis, but I

think we're in more of a problem solving mode

right now. It's hard, but it really helps to have a group like this

for support and so much info.

It really helped me too. Just having something in common with people made me

feel like my life was normal. Normal for a family with CMT it in anyway. I took

forever to grieve. Maybe because I had CMT X 3. At the time I felt horrible for

not dealing with it like everyone else and just moving on.
