I was given Taxol, Adriamycin & one other drug I can't recall. Yes, I was aware of the Medications Alert list which Taxol is on. That's why I was concerned before taking chemo. My sister who died had received Taxol also & was severely weakened. It's hard to say if was the chemo, the cancer or CMT that weakened her. Probably a combination of all three. I was told that any neurotoxic drugs such as Taxol can cause temporary periphreal neuropathy in all people & that it could cause permanent worsening in people with something such as CMT.
