Tax deductible Aquatic Exercise

Andy,

FYI, aquatic exercise on one's own is tax deductible. I pay my gym $50

a month, and am in the pool average 4 times a week working on my own

program. Twice a year my doctor writes a 'note' (on a prescriptioon

pad) " to continue with aquatic exercise 3 - 4 times a week) " .

Then when I pull my tax info together, I add that as an out of pocket

medical expense deduction. It's been this way for 6 years since I

started in the pool.

The only thing not deductible are swim suits - which I go through one

every 4 months. The benefits of the pool far outway any expense.
