Guest guest
Hello everyone! I have some interesting information regarding the economic stimulus payment for people who recieve SSDI (Social Security Disability Income). I just spent over an hour on hold with the IRS (1-800-829-0582 X377). We were previously under the impression that we were not eligible for the stimulus check because we do not have any taxable income - only the SSDI, and do not file income tax returns. However, we do qualify! The gentleman on the phone was very nice and even took the time to help me fill out the form line by line (very simple!). I just wanted to get the information out there for anyone else who receives Social Security payments and does not file yearly returns - you may also qualify for the stimulus payment. I would hate for anyone to miss out on this opportunity due to mis-information. Best Wishes! in Arizona
