Telbivudine Tyzeka) has the potential for Serious Risk in peripheral

neuropathy. This medication is useud for the treatment of chronic

hepatitis B in adult patients with evidence of viral replication and

either evidence of persistent elevations in serum aminotransferases

(ALT or AST) or histologically active disease. Tyzeka may also cause muscle ache

and weakness.

This comes from the FDA list of 20 drugs known for their potential

risks.
