Guest guest
Leena, " Gait " is the way we walk/move. The best help comes from a Physical Therapist who can help with that after evaulation, give you feedback on your walking pattern, and show you exercises to do at home. This is important especially when first receiving AFOs. Gretchen
Guest guest
Hi Leena, I can certainly relate you your qustion, because I feel that the one AFO I wear has altered my gait. So it helps but hinders too. Is there such a thing as gait training when you get AFOs? Wow that would be helpful. Elaine
Guest guest
Elaine, Yes, there are professionals that specialize in gait analysis. Look for physical therapy groups, but make sure they understand the type of brace you have. Jackie
