Guest guest Posted August 27, 2008 Report Share Posted August 27, 2008 Just in case anyone finds themselves addicted to Cymbalta: When my son tried to get off Cymbalta he became very sick. He was having withdrawal big time. Our doctor had him taper down on the Cymbalta dose and added Welbutrin. Only then was my son able to get off the Cymbalta without side effects. Guest guest Posted August 28, 2008 Report Share Posted August 28, 2008 i just got off of cymbalta and it was a bear and i was not even on the therapeutic level of dosage! i weaned and weaned and weaned and still have side effects which included what they call brain shivers, where when you turn your head, the world follows 30 seconds later and irritability and then need to lay down and pass out!
